MEETING OF ELECTED OFFICE BEARERS ( Exclusive EC)
Amar Pal elevated to the post of Chairman
S K Bajaj, Chaman Singla & K K Trikha co-opted to EC
As the members are aware , in the recently held elections, the post of Dy General Secretaries were kept vacant as all the three candidates for two posts of DGS withdrew from the contest and paved the way for unanimous elections.
The exclusive EC which met on 4/2/26 in SBIPA office at LHO Chandigarh discussed the issue threadbare and made unanimous decisions as under:-
1 Keeping in view the stature of Shri Amar Pal, Vice President , the committee resolved to elevate him to the post of Chairman. The post specially created for the term 2025-28. The committee was of the considered opinion that his vast experience as GS SBIOA Chandigarh Circle, Prez AISBOF, GS AIBOC and Officer Director on the board of SBI will enhance the stature of SBIPA Chandigarh Circle and enthusiast its office bearers and members to work more vigorously for the benefit of circle membership.
2 Shri S K Bajaj , who has been serving the membership as secretary of Association was unanimously nominated by the August house to the post of vice president.
3 Both Shri Chaman Lal Singla and Shri K K Trikha having vast experience as trade union leaders and also had served as office bearers of SBIPA Chandigarh Circle were unanimously nominated as Deputy General Secretaries.
With the above nominations, the election excercise stand completed.
We congratulate all the above office bearers and hope that they will do justice to their post and work to the best of their abilities to keep the flag of SBIPA Chandigarh Circle high.
The August house also authorised the President & General Secretary to nominate module office bearers as well as the required number of Secretaries for the smooth working of our esteemed Association . This exercise will be completed within one week.
Dear members, your association is now ranked amongst the top affiliates of Federation and we are sure it will remain the most vibrant and result oriented organisation of sbi pensioners
